Next stage in blocking up
Pale grey blocks will be underground, level with garden. Bricks on top will be finished floor level once concrete is in.
Lounge wall. Lounge will be same size as Boundary Drive but a bit wider and with a bay window. You can see gateposts and shared courtyard wall in background.

Concrete is set and foundtions passed inspection.
Yes - still blue skies, however, snow is forecast!!

Stage one of housebuild - the stakeout etc.
Hi
At last the house was staked out on 28th March!!! :)
All the family went up to see it on 30th. Couldn't believe that the diggers were in already and foundations were dug out. Concrete was due within the hour!
Exciting - as Bill said 'Oh S----'.
We're going to see the concrete in a few minutes with Paul, Vicky and Riley. Good way to spend a sunny Sunday morning in Hawick eh? Watching concrete dry!
