Not really Tally Ho! This was the view from our temporary bedroom balcony (AKA scaffolding) last Saturday evening. It was part of the Hawick common ridings which takes place every year. (Google it if you're interested.) There were about 120 horses and riders. They use the field opposite what will be our house once a year during the Denholm Ride-out. Hopefully we will be on the lawn with a glass of wine watching this next year. |
